On the IEP forms, the students age is based on the IEP Meeting Date. This is done to ensure the age of the student on the IEP accurately reflects their age at the time of that meeting.
For example: If the DOB of the student is 05/01/2005, and the IEP date on the Future IEP is 03/01/2015, on the IEP form it will display age 9, as that was the age of the student on that date. The Student Record will display the current age of 10. Once the IEP date is changed to the new meeting date (e.g. 03/01/2016 ), it will update the Age on the IEP form to age 10.
