For students that have transferred in from out of state or from a non-SEIS district, the students last placement along with interim offer, will be entered into SEIS via the student's Future IEP, Interim Placement form.


The Interim Placement form includes all CALPADS reportable fields, along with the Services grid to document all information. Additional IEP forms, such as the Goals form can be updated, if needed. Providers should not go to the Information/Eligibility form to update the IEP date or Meeting Type. This would cause inaccurate IEP information to be submitted to CALPADS.


By documenting the Last Placement/Interim Placement on the Future IEP, once affirmed, a CALPADS reportable transaction will be created for the student in the district/LEA.


*If an Annual IEP will be held in conjunction with the Interim Placement, it should be considered an Annual IEP and all future IEP forms can be updated.
