We sent out an email a month back informing all districts to switch over to the new platform by June 30, 2021. There is no price difference.
This upgrade allows the districts to view and manage their Integration files, without having to reach out to the help desk. The upgrades include:
- A self-service integration website to monitor the progress of your integration.
- Client ability to customize their own integration file (upload and/or download), by adding or removing fields as needed.
As part of this upgrade, we will be requiring all SEIS Integration customers to upgrade their console applications (used to send/receive data to/from SEIS) or your SFTP integration. Depending on your configuration, this may require minor changes to how the data is extracted from your systems.
For example your request request to add District Enrollment Date. With the new platform, you would select the variables for the upload and adjust your export. You would not need to reach out to us for this minor change.
There will be no down time in implementing this feature. It's just downloading the new console application and install. If you have a scheduler, will need to point it to the new console instead of the old. The process to upload/download will still be the same.
