A duplicate Service is two or more services with the same Service Code, and Provider Agency.
CALPADS only wants one version of each service reported. In SEIS, when a duplicate service is added, you will receive an orange notification next to the service. SEIS does not stop the affirm due to this notice, as the same service may be provided to a student multiple times, but with different deliveries. This is why you do not receive an Error in SEIS, but you do through the CALPADS report.
To monitor services Users can run a Duplicate Service Report. To run this report go to Reports in the upper navigation bar and click on Duplicate Services Report. Teachers will also be able to run this report from their own user account.
